Koch-Chemie Teerwäsche A (Tea) is a solvent-based cleaner designed for the quick yet gentle removal of bitumen and road tar. It is powerful enough to loosen old, firmly bonded tar deposits while remaining suitable for use on resistant paint finishes. For this reason, it is generally used before resorting to more aggressive solvents.

The product is suitable not only for vehicle surfaces, but also for cleaning car-wash brushes, workshop floors and solvent-resistant industrial equipment. It is free from halogenated hydrocarbons, while Daimler approval confirms its suitability for use on OEM paint finishes.

Directions for use:

Apply the undiluted product to a dry surface and allow it to dwell briefly. If necessary, work the contaminated area with a cloth or suitable brush. Then rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer or wipe away the loosened contamination with a clean cloth.

Do not mix with emulsifying cleaning products, as this may impair the performance of oil separators in car-wash systems. Prevent the product from entering drains, soil or groundwater. Before use, test for material compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
