Silicone, Wax, Oil and Grease Remover Koch-Chemie Silicon- & Wachsentferner (Sil), 5 L

Koch-Chemie Silicon- und Wachsentferner (Sil) is a water-dilutable, alcohol-based degreaser designed to remove silicone oil, wax and polishing compound residue from solvent-resistant surfaces.

The dilution can be adjusted to suit the application. The product may be used undiluted on resistant surfaces or diluted with water for more sensitive materials. It leaves the treated surface clean, degreased and antistatic, helping reduce dust attraction before painting or applying a protective coating.

The formula is free from halogenated hydrocarbons and promotes reliable adhesion of subsequently applied coatings and materials.

Areas of application:

— Localized degreasing before applying film or bonding trim and decorative components

Directions for use:

Apply the product undiluted to solvent-resistant surfaces. For more sensitive surfaces, dilute one part product with up to four parts water.

Apply the product using a cloth or spray bottle, then wipe the treated area with a clean, dry cloth.

For single-stage paint finishes without a clear coat and other sensitive paint finishes, always dilute the product at a ratio of one part product to four parts water. The undiluted product may reduce the gloss of these surfaces.

Before use, test for colour fastness and material compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
