Koch-Chemie Reinigungsknete Rot (Rkr) is an aggressive-grade detailing clay designed for heavily contaminated or neglected paintwork when milder decontamination methods are insufficient. It removes old, firmly bonded contaminants from vehicles that have not been cleaned for an extended period or have been exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
Due to its higher level of abrasiveness, it is typically used as an intensive preparation step before polishing. The clay should be used with a suitable clay lubricant, which provides sufficient lubrication and helps reduce the risk of damaging the paintwork.
Advantages:
— Reusable: fold and knead the contaminated section inward to expose a clean working surface
— Supplied in a storage box that helps prevent the clay from drying out between uses
— Removes firmly bonded contamination and restores a smoother surface rather than concealing surface roughness
— Suitable for localized treatment of heavily contaminated areas
— Original Koch-Chemie product
Areas of application:
— Tree sap, insect residue and rust particles on neglected paintwork
— Industrial fallout, paint overspray and bitumen spots on heavily contaminated vehicle surfaces
— Mineral deposits on paintwork and glass
— Intensive surface preparation before polishing or applying a new protective coating
Directions for use:
Thoroughly wash and dry the area to be treated. Take a suitable piece of clay and knead it in your hands until it becomes soft and pliable.
Spray a suitable clay lubricant onto the surface. Move the clay gently across the wet area without applying pressure, using straight horizontal or vertical passes until the surface feels smooth.
Regularly fold and knead the contaminated section inward so that you continue working with a clean surface.
Between uses, moisten the clay slightly with water and store it in the supplied box.
Do not use on fresh or recently refinished paintwork. Due to its increased abrasiveness, the clay may leave fine marks that require a finishing polish to remove.
Suitable for professional and private use.
