Koch-Chemie Polish & Sealing Foam Pad D45 is a compact, ultra-soft polishing pad with a diameter of 45 mm, designed for the even and economical application of protective and finishing products to small and hard-to-reach areas.

It can be used with products such as Koch-Chemie Lack-Polish Grün P1.03, 1K Nano, waxes, sealants and other compatible finishing products.

The pad is not intended for abrasive paint correction. Its primary purpose is the gentle, uniform application of protective products on areas where larger pads are impractical. Its low 25 mm profile reduces torsional stress on the polishing machine while improving stability and control during application.

Green identifies the Polish & Sealing range in Koch-Chemie’s polishing pad colour-coding system. It represents the softest finishing stage and makes the pad’s intended use easy to identify at a glance.

— Application of products requiring uniform coverage in narrow or confined areas

Directions for use:

Attach the pad to a suitable backing plate on a compatible polishing machine. The backing plate should be smaller than the working diameter of the pad and should not extend beyond its edge.

Apply a small amount of the product to the pad and spread it evenly over the working area. Adjust machine speed according to the instructions for the product being applied and the type of polishing machine.

Do not use the pad on hot surfaces. Shake the product before use if required by its instructions, and follow the specified application, dwell or curing, and buffing procedures. Clean the pad thoroughly after use and allow it to dry completely before reuse.
