Koch-Chemie Headlight Polish 1 (HLP1) is a highly abrasive, silicone-oil-free polishing compound designed for the machine restoration of heavily weathered PMMA headlight lenses. It is the first abrasive stage of a two-step restoration system, helping remove yellowing, cloudiness, scratches and P1000 sanding marks.

Directions for use:
Clean the headlight thoroughly and shake the bottle before use. Apply a small amount of the compound to a Heavy Cut Pad or sheepskin wool pad.
Polish the headlight lens with a rotary polishing machine at medium speed and moderate pressure, using overlapping cross-hatch passes.
For the best result, follow with Headlight Polish 2 or another suitable finishing polish to refine the surface and increase gloss.
Monitor heat build-up in the lens during polishing and do not work on hot surfaces. Protect the product from freezing and excessive heat. Before use, test for material compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
